As part of her SmartStart participation, Lavanya Rajesh Kumar pitched her startup idea at the 1 Million Cups event last week. She is now an official graduate of the SmartStart program.
Her app called AlzWel provides customized, real-time help to people dealing with everyday stress, depression, and anxiety. Lavanya is a PhD student at Michigan Tech performing research in the Aging, Cognition & Action Lab.
She will continue to receive support and services from MTEC SmartZone, which is one of the perks of taking the course.
