Powerhouse
The Powerhouse, aptly named for its history of providing the area with power, continues to be a prominent icon in downtown Houghton. The updated interior boasts high ceilings, large windows, open concept offices and some of the best views of the Portage Canal and Portage Lift Bridge, the only land-based access to the Keweenaw Peninsula.
Lakeshore Center
The first floor of the Lakeshore Center is home to MTEC’s main offices, formal conference room, and several of our TalentBridge tenants. There is also a community room that can be reserved for larger gatherings and smaller conference rooms that are great for team meetings.
Jutila Center
The Jutila Center is part of the Finlandia University campus in Hancock, Michigan, situated on the north side of the Portage Canal. The entire 4th floor is dedicated to MTEC start-up office spaces complete with 2 kitchenettes, a formal conference room, a co-working area with an entrepreneur resource library and a furnished on-demand executive office.
Our Incubator office spaces are available to high-tech startups that have completed the SmartStart program or fall into the Transformative Technologies category. You’ll have a private office space with amenities and access to business support from mentors and industry experts.
