MTEC SmartZone is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the 9th Annual Return North Career Fair! The event was held virtually on November 13, 2025, from 3–6 p.m. EST. This year’s event marked our largest yet, bringing together over 100 registered job seekers and 23 employers from across Michigan’s U.P.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to every attendee, employer, and community partner who made this event possible. Your engagement and commitment fuels Return North’s mission of helping professionals “Find their way home”.
For job seekers, the event offered direct access to recruiters, insights into the region’s growing industries, and a chance to explore career paths that provide professional advancement along with the unmatched quality of life the U.P. has to offer. Employers were able to directly connect with job seekers eager to live in the region and engage with a variety of qualified candidates.
While the annual career fair has concluded, Return North is more than a one-day event. Since 2024, it has become a year-round initiative dedicated to connecting job seekers with meaningful career opportunities throughout the Upper Peninsula.
Return North’s website remains active with new job postings added weekly, along with a space for job seekers to upload resumes and employers to share open positions.
